The Huskies (13-4) dropped to 20th in the ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll and Associated Press poll. Washington ascended to 18th in the coaches’ poll and 17th in the AP poll last week, but the loss to Stanford last Thursday kicked them back down.

Washington is projected as a No. 7 seed in the NCAA tournament by Bracketology 101.

Good ranking news for the Pac-10, however. Arizona is ranked 25th in the coaches’ poll. That means Thursday night’s matchup between Arizona (15-3, 4-1) and Washington at Hec Ed at 7:30 (FSN) will be the first this season between two ranked Pac-10 teams.

Undefeated Ohio State took over the top spot in both polls after Duke lost last week.
