Root For the Rams Next Week: No matter what the Seahawks do in Tampa Bay, they’ll control their own destiny if St. Louis wins at home against San Francisco next Sunday. That would set up a one-game playoff at Qwest for the NFC West title. In fact, if St. Louis wins Sunday morning, the Seahawks/Bucs game that afternoon is meaningless — win or lose, the Seahawks would still go to the playoffs with a win over the Rams.
Huskies Can’t Shoot, Still Win by 28: This scares me if I’m a fan of another Pac-10 team. The Huskies were 6-26 from three against San Francisco on Saturday night, and still won 80-52. How? A new dedication to rebounding, with Romar running Aziz N’Diaye and Matthew Bryan-Amaning into the starting lineup. Huskies 7-3. Next game Wednesday vs. Nevada.
