M’s Will Unload Aardsma for a Bat: Correctly concluding that you can’t close a game you’re losing 3-0, Jack Z will trade stopper David Aardsma for offense. He’s asking for an “impact” bat in return, reports MLB.com. But we already have Milton Bradley!

Nevada looks like a pretty good matchup for the Huskies–they tend to turn the ball over a lot, a trait that will only be exacerbated by the Huskies’ defense. They do have a little bit of height, so this might be a better test for the MBA/N’Diaye front line than San Francisco was.

Why bother working out Snead when they won’t even play Whitehurst – despite having traded a 2nd round pick for him – and Hasselbeck playing the worst of his career ?!
Must be for next year–I wonder if they’ll draft someone or end up having a tryout camp with Whitehurst and whoever else they sign…
