The Washington Huskies (19-8) had an off-night shooting and were unusually sloppy with the basketball but still won by 21 points over Seattle University, 95-74, Tuesday night. Matthew Bryan-Amaning led the Huskies with 24 points. Six Huskies reached double figures. Isaiah Thomas had 20. The cross-town Redhawks (10-17) were led by Sterling Carter with 20 points. The Huskies made just 4 of 18 attempts from three-point range, 22.2 percent. Their season average is 38.5. They also committed 17 turnovers, well above their average of 12 per game.

Matthew Bryan-Amaning. The 6–foot-9 forward, towering over most of the Redhawks, scored 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. He made nine of 11 shot attempts.
Play of the game
There were two first-half alley-oop pass connections much appreciated by the gathering, both delivered by Venoy Overton. He found Terrence Ross at 10:40 of the half, and Ross dunked it through. Then at 4:20, Justin Holiday had to reach high for the pass and came down with a one-hand slam.
