Washington running back Chris Polk is one of the no-doubt starters if the depth chart came out today. Or any day, for that matter. / Drew McKenzie, Sportspress Northwest

Midway through Thursday’s practice, the Huskies will be half done with their allotted 15 spring practices.

At the start of spring ball, the quarterback battle between Nick Montana and Keith Price was the focal point. There has been little else to veer the spotlight away.

For kicks, knowing this is the halfway point of spring football, let’s assemble what a two-deep may look like if the Huskies had to play this Saturday and everyone who has been involved this spring (at least was out on the field) was available:

This will obviously get a shakeup in the fall. Incoming receiver Kasen Williams will challenge to be in the rotation, if not start. When Deontae Cooper heals, he’ll challenge for carries and kick return duties.

Semisi Tokolahi (DT), Princeton Fuimaono (LB) and Cooper Pelluer (LB) should also be back.

Overall, the two-deep shows improved depth on a team that is now mostly Steve Sarkisian recruits.
