Pete Carroll and the Seahawks will, barring a trade, make the No. 12 overall choice in Thursday's NFL Draft. / Drew Sellers, Sportspress Northwest

Unless they make a trade, the Seattle Seahawks will make the 12th overall selection in the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday (pick expected by 6:30 p.m.). They could choose a speed pass rusher, a quarterback, a linebacker, or maybe even an offensive lineman: depends on how the picks fall.

While the Seahawks have never had the 12th overall pick, they have had a top 11 pick 17 times. The most recent one came in 2010, when the Seahawks drafted offensive tackle Russell Okung No. 6 overall.

Nine of the draft picks listed below combined to make 33 Pro Bowl appearances, incuding DT Sam Adams (1994) and WR Koren Robinson (2001) both of whom made the Pro Bowl for first time after leaving the Seahawks. The 1990 pick, Cortez Kennedy, was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame last January.
