Clemson defensive lineman Jarvis Jenkins impressed enough people at the Senior Bowl to have great momentum going into the scouting combine. Specifically, the Seattle Seahawks liked what they saw enough in Mobile to place interest in the 6-foot-4, 310-pound run-plugger. In this interview from the scouting combine, Jenkins talks about his toughest opponents, how his versatility is a plus, how to disrupt against the pass, and what the pre-draft process has been like.
The Seahawks obviously struggled against the run after Red Bryant was lost for the season in Week 8 against the Oakland Raiders, and given Pete Carrolls end-of-season comments about shoring up both lines, its easy to imagine how closely theyre tracking the progress of players like Jenkins, who can provide mid-round draft value with their abilities to do specific things very well.
They talked to me a good bit at the Senior Bowl; I havent talked to them here, Jenkins said. But Im sure Ill be meeting with them.
When asked if he could be that Bryant-style enforcer against the run, Jenkins had no hesitation. Oh, definitely. I could definitely do that.

Woah, you’re getting way ahead of yourself. Sark has never indicated that USC is his dream job. The scholarship limitations are going to kill that program for the next 5-8 years, and by the time USC would come calling Sark should have UW rolling with a new stadium and football operations building. He would be foolish to leave for that job, and I highly doubt he will.
