Warren Moon, who left UW in 1978 to launch his professional career in Canada (Edmonton Eskimos), joined the NFL’s Houston Oilers in 1984. In a 17-year career, Moon made nine Pro Bowl teams and retired with 291 touchdown passes, still among the top five all time.

Only two other ex-Washington quarterbacks, Mark Brunell and Chris Chandler, threw for more than 100 touchdowns in the NFL. Both also participated in the Pro Bowl.

With all the talk over the past few months about newly ex-Washington quarterback Jake Locker, selected eighth overall by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, we thought we would take a look at former Husky signal callers, ranked by NFL touchdown passes thrown.

Chandler, twice a Bowl game MVP when he played for the Huskies (1985 Freedom, 1987 Independence) is the only quarterback in NFL history to start for eight different teams.
