    I’m done with the NBA.
They’ve never addressed the poor (or even corrupt) officiating and most of the teams are losing money anyway.
The Seattle arena deal hinges on a hockey team, but we’ve never very strongly supported hockey and the deal has no way of making a hockey team stay at the new arena even if we get one, so the taxpayers will be stuck holding the bag again, especially if we have Mariners-type owners who don’t make the teams competitve.
Finally, why should the city be giving the arena folks parking concessions and other moneys when we have so many infrastructure problems of our own that most of us would consider higher priority?
Basketball is a crooked sport.  Screw David Stern.
We’ve got several good college teams in this state and we’ve got the Hawks and Storm.
Maybe someday the Mariners will even get competitive, though there’s no sign of it on the horizon.
I like being able to go to the Seattle Center and find parking now that the Sonics are gone.
Let’s leave it that way.  We’ll be less poor in the long run.

  3. Anyone that believes anything out of the foul maw that is Stern’s piehole deserves the dissapointment bestowed upon them. The NBA still hasn’t figured out it’s business model is flat out broken. It’s starting to make the NHL look like a well-oiled machine.

What’s the bigger pipe dream, an NBA/NHL arena in Seattle or the Mariners being competive?

That said unless it’s played well baseball is pretty boring.
