The slumbering Seattle Storm were shocked by one of the WNBA’s worst teams Thursday night when the Phoenix Mercury, led by DeWanna Bonner’s 24 points, ended a 10-game losing streak with a 75-68 win at KeyArena.

The Storm (11-14) won all three meetings this season between the teams by an average of 16 points. But Seattle’s two Olympians, Lauren Jackson and Sue Bird, weren’t into it Thursday. Jackson was 2 of 8 from the field and had six points while Bird was 3 of 9 from the field and finished with eight points and eight assists.

For the Mercury, Samantha Prahalis added 16 and Diana Taurasi had 13.

Bonner, who had 11 rebounds, scored 13 points in the second half. Camille Little had 11 points to lead Seattle while Tanisha Wright added 10 points and eight rebounds. Reserve Tina Thompson had 10 points.

The Mercury broke from a 54-all tie by outscoring Seattle 13-2 to start the fourth quarter.
