University of Washington basketball coach Lorenzo Romar announced the lineups for what could — and probably should — be an annual treat for Husky fans: An Alumni Game featuring ex-Dawgs of relatively recent vintage. The Alumni Game is part of a” Husky Legends Return” extravaganza June 23 at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The slate of events also includes a Legends Game, a 3-point contest for fans, a 3-point contest featuring ex-players and a dunk contest.
Rosters for the Legends Game have yet to be announced, but among the players expected to participate are Christian Welp (1984-87), Dion Brown (1989-91), Eldridge Recasner (1987-90), Donald Watts (1996-99), and Chester Dorsey (1974-77). Welp is Washington’s all-time leading scorer with 2,073 points.
The Alumni Game will feature eight former Huskies who finished the 2012-13 season on NBA rosters, including Nate Robinson, Brandon Roy, Terrence Ross, Tony Wroten, Spencer Hawes, Quincy Pondexter, Isaiah Thomas and Justin Holiday.
Romar has divided the eight current players, plus other ex-Huskies of note, into “Pre-2009” and “Post-2009” teams. Our question: Who wins this All-Star-style Alumni Game? Check out the rosters below, then cast your vote.

WILL CONROY (2001-05): Four-year letterman is Washington’s all-time leader in assists for a career (515) and season (219 in 2005) . . . Ranked 21st among all-time Husky scorers . . . Tallied 106 3-pointers . . . .Joined Huskies as a walk-on.
BRANDON ROY (2003-06): First consensus All-America at UW since Bob Houbregs in 1953 . . . Scored 1,477 points (13th all-time) . . .Two-time first-team All-Pac-10 . . . Selected in the first round of the 2006 NBA draft . . . Three-time NBA All-Star . . . Playing for Portland, scored a career-high 52 points against Phoenix Dec. 18, 2008.
TRE SIMMONS (2004-05): Made 128 3-pointers during Washington career, No. 3 all-time . . . Had 46 double-figure scoring games . . . First-team All-Pac-10 as a senior.
NATE ROBINSON (2003-05): Third-team All-America in 2005, first-team All-Pac-10 in 2004-05 . . . No. 1 NBA draft pick in 2005 . . . Three-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion . . . Most recently played for the Chicago Bulls . . . Scored a career-high 45 points for the New York Knicks vs. Portland March 8, 2008.
SPENCER HAWES (2007): Played one season at Washington before opting for the NBA draft . . . Selected by the Sacramento Kings 10th overall in 2007 . . . Spent first three seasons with the Kings, the last three with Philadelphia.
BOBBY JONES (2003-06): Lorenzo Romar’s first recruit at Washington . . . Had 20 double-figure scoring games . . . Selected first-team All-Pac-10 in 2006 . . . Taken in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft . . . Played 91 games for Philadelphia, Denver, Memphis, Miami and San Antonio.
MIKE JENSEN (2003-06): Three-year letterman and three-year starter . . . Chose UW after receiving offers from Syracuse, Kentucky and Gonzaga . . . Helped the Huskies to a 29-5 record and No. 1 NCAA Tournament seed in 2005.
JAMAAL WILLIAMS (2005-06): Transferred to UW from New Mexico . . . As a junior, ranked third in the Pac-10 in field goal percentage at 56.1 . . . Scored 18 points in a Sweet Sixteen game against Louisville.
HANS GESSER (2004-07): Graduate of Issaquah High mainly played in a reserve role . . . In 2005-06, helped the Huskies to a 26-7 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet Sixteen.
POST-2009 TEAM
ISAIAH THOMAS (2009-11): No. 6 scorer in school history with 1,721 points . . . Selected first-team All-Pac 10/12 three times . . . Conference freshman of the year in 2009 . . . Selected in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft . . . Played past two seasons with the Sacramento Kings . . . Averaged 13.9 points in 2012-13.
TERRENCE ROSS (2010-12): Selected first-team All-Pac-12 in his second year with the Huskies after averaging 16.4 points per game, and then opted for NBA draft . . . Selected in the first round, eighth overall, by Toronto . . . Won the 2013 NBA Slam Dunk Contest . . . Scored a career-high 26 points against Portland Jan. 2, 2013.
TONY WROTEN (2011-12): Selected Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in his only season with the Huskies when he averaged 16 points per game . . . Declared for the draft and was selected 25th overall by the Memphis Grizzlies . . . Averaged 3.7 points in his first pro season.
JON BROCKMAN (2006-09): Finished career as the school’s No. 2 all-time scorer with 1,805 points and the No. 1 rebounder with 1,283 . . . Selected all-conference three times . . . Spent time in the NBA with Sacramento and Milwaukee; also played in France.
MATTHEW BRYAN-AMANING (2008-11): Ended UW career with 15 double-doubles and was the 36th player in school history to score 1,000 points . . . Scored a career-high 30 vs. Arizona State Jan. 22, 2011 . . . Has played with European teams in Turkey and Serbia.
JUSTIN HOLIDAY (2008-11): Received four letters during UW career . . . Made two conference All-Defensive teams in 2010 and 2011 . . . Played for the Idaho Stampede (2012-13) and Philadelphia 76ers in last pro season.
JUSTIN DENTMON (2006-09): Ended career with 1,425 points . . . Named conference’s Most Improved Player as a senior as well as first-team all-conference . . . Played in the NBA, D-League, in Venezuela and Puerto Rico.
DARNELL GANT (2009-12): Played in a record 140 games for the Huskies and became the first in school history to be a part of 100 victories. Spent last pro season in Austria.
QUINCY PONDEXTER (2007-10): Selected first-team all-conference in 2010 when he led the Huskies with a 19.3 average . . . Q-Tip finished as No. 3 all-time scorer with 1,786 points . . . Had four 30-point games . . . Has played for New Orleans and Memphis in the NBA.
