On a September afternoon where the conditions reached November levels at Husky Stadium, Washington leaned on the Wildcats (61 rushing attempts) before pulling away in the second half for a 31-13 win. At 4-0 for the first time since 2001, and a daunting pair of games ahead against Stanford and Oregon, here’s a look back at what it was like on the sidelines from rain-soaked Sportspress Northwest photographer Drew Sellers.

That UW quarterback Keith Price completed 14 of 25 passes for 165 yards, two touchdowns and one interception is a testament to the strides he’s made in his senior season. In 2013, Price is connecting on 72.3 percent of his throws and has nine touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Huskies picked an appropriate day to unveil their new reflective gold chrome helmets. The torrential downpour seemingly added to their shine.

Hey, when you carry the ball 40 times, and you’re fifth in the country in rushing yards (607 yards), you get not one, but two photos in the weekly SPNW Huskies gallery.
