At least Washington’s 31-28 loss at Stanford Saturday night didn’t put a serious dent in the Huskies’ poll standing. Ranked 15th a week ago, UW slipped only a notch to 16th in AP rankings released Sunday. In the USA Today/Coaches poll, Washington actually moved up one spot, from 20 to 19.

The Huskies, 4-1, received 536 votes in the AP poll and are one of four Pac-12 teams in the Top 25 along with No. 2 Oregon, No. 5 Stanford and No. 11 UCLA. Neither Oregon nor Stanford moved in the poll while the Bruins climbed from 12th.

Washington received 366 votes in the USA Today/Coaches poll, which also includes No. 2 Oregon, No. 5 Stanford and No. 13 UCLA.

Washington, ranked for the sixth consecutive week, takes on the Ducks Saturday at Husky Stadium.

  1. Hoping the Husky faithful drown out the Ducks the way they did Boise State and Arizona!
