The Sounders Sunday recalled midfielder/forward David Estrada from loan with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the North American Soccer League. Estrada, who joined Seattle in 2010, played 207 minutes in three appearances after joining Atlanta April 3.
Estrada, 26, has started 18 of 40 appearances in his five seasons with the Sounders, scoring five goals. He made five appearances for the club during its preseason schedule, logging 160 minutes with one goal.
The Sounders, who defeated the Colorado Rapids 4-1 Saturday at CenturyLink Field behind the two goals of Clint Dempsey, host the Philadelphia Union at 7 p.m. Saturday.
