Lorenzo Romar’s Washington Huskies will begin their 2014-15 season Friday, Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. against South Carolina State at Alaska Airlines Arena and will have 30 of their 31 regular-season games broadcast on either ESPN, Fox Sports One or the Pac-12 Networks, according to a schedule announced Monday by the Pac-12 Conference.
The Huskies will play at least 13 nationally televised games with the potential of 15 on either ESPN and its affiliated networks, or Fox Sports One.
The Huskies open Pac-12 play on the road for the third consecutive year when they face California Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. and Stanford Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.
The Huskies play their Pac-12 home opener Jan. 10 against Washington State with a noon tipoff and follow with contests against Oregon State (Jan. 15, 6 p.m.,s/Pac-12 Networks) and Oregon (Jan. 18, 5:30 p.m.,/ESPNU).
Washington will play the Arizona schools in Seattle Feb. 13 (Arizona/ESPN) and Feb. 15 (Arizona State/Pac-12 Networks), but will not contest the Wildcats or Sun Devils in the desert.
Washington plays at UCLA Feb. 25 (ESPN2) and USC Feb. 28 (Pac-12 Networks), but will not host either the Bruins or Trojans in Seattle.
Washington’s regular-season schedule concludes with games against Colorado and Utah at Alaska Airlines Arena March 5 (6 p.m./Fox Sports 1) and March 7 (1:30 p.m./Pac-12 Network), respectively.
Outside of their conference schedule, the Huskies will be featured nationally up to four times. UW will play in the Wooden Legacy tournament (Nov. 27-30/ESPN2) and in the MGM Showcase Dec. 20 against Oklahoma.
