The Mariners Friday made four more roster moves, activating RHP Steve Cishek from the disabled list and recalling INF/OF Stefen Romero from AAA Tacoma, while optioning 1B/DH Dae-Ho Lee and RHP Joe Wieland to the Rainiers. Romero and Cishek were to be available for a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers Friday night at Safeco Field.

Cishek, 30, went on the 15-day DL retroactive to Aug. 2 with a left hip labrum tear. He made two appearances with Short-A Everett during a rehab assignment. Prior to the injury, he was 2-6 with 25 saves and a 3.40 ERA in 44 relief appearances with the Mariners this season.

Cishek recorded 21 saves before the All-Star break. In seven MLB seasons with the Marlins, Cardinals and Mariners, Cishek is 19-26 with 120 saves with a 2.89 ERA in 355 games.

Romero, 27, hit .314 in 96 games with Tacoma. He was a starting outfielder for the Pacific Coast League in the 2016 AAA All-Star Game. In one prior stint with Seattle, he appeared in eight games, hitting .200. Romero also appeared in the majors with Seattle in 2014 and 2015.

Lee, 34, hit .246 with 13 home runs and 41 RBIs in 84 games with Seattle. Prior to the All-Star break, Lee hit .288. Since the break, Lee is 6-for- 55 (.109) in 20 games, the major reason for his demotion.

Wieland, 26, made his Mariners debut at Oakland Aug. 12. Wieland took the loss after allowing six runs on nine hits over five innings. Wieland has not made an appearance with Seattle since then.

The Mariners (64-56) will start LHP Wade LeBlanc (2-0, 4.68) opposite LHP Brent Suter, who will be making his MLB debut.

The Mariners are seven games behind division leader Texas in the AL West and three games in arrears for the second wild card spot.
