The Seahawks will have TE Jimmy Graham, DE Frank Clark and RB C.J. Prosise available for Sunday’s game at Arizona, but it looks as if two defensive starters, SS Kam Chancellor and OLB Kevin Pierre-Louis, will be out. For the second game in a row, Kelcie McCray will fill in for Chancellor.

Coach Pete Carroll said earlier in the week that McCray’s relative inexperience at signal-calling played a role in the mix-up Sunday against Atlanta that prompted CB Richard Sherman to challenge Kris Richard after the defensive coordinator yelled at Sherman along the sideline.

Chancellor has had a strained groin muscle that developed during practice last week, and was listed on the team injury report as doubtful.

“He had trouble both yesterday and today,” Carroll said Friday after practice. “We don’t have to rule him out. We’ll go to game time, but he’s not able to do much.”

Pierre-Louis was already replacing starter Mike Morgan (hernia surgery), but sprained an ankle Sunday. DE Cassius Marsh is a possibility, and Clark, who missed last week with a sore hamstring, may get action there. Carroll declined to disclose his plans.

Graham was held out of practice Thursday, but Carroll said it was merely soreness from the game.

“We had to get him back from last week and we kind of gauged it through the week,” Carroll said.  “We think it worked out terrific. He had a great day today, so he’s ready to go.”

Prosise, the rookie third-rounder from Notre Dame, will play with protection on his injured wrist but seems ready for the first time since week one.

“It’s really exciting to have him — at least, he’s part of the decision-making if he can dress on game day,” Carroll said. “He’ll still wear some type of protection, but he’s OK. He practiced very well with it.”

Carroll reported that TE Luke Willson, who had arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday after hurting his knee Sunday, will be out, but was already walking around at practice this week.

“He’ll do a crazy, miraculous turnaround, I would think,” Carroll said. He’s just an amazing healer. He’s got an extraordinary attitude about it and if you talk to him, he wishes he could play this week. We’re not going to do that, but he’s on the road to recovery and it won’t take him long.”

The second tight end spot behind Graham likely will go to either Brandon Williams, a five-year vet who’s played every game this season, mostly on special teams, or rookie Nick Vannett, who played his first snaps Sunday after recovering from a a sprained ankle.

For Arizona, QB Carson Palmer, who had some hamstring soreness, will play Sunday. But the Cardinals WR John Brown, who has 24 catches for 301 yards, was diagnosed Friday with sickle-cell trait. The treatable blood disorder may not keep him out. Another wideout, Jaron Brown, is questionable with a sore knee.
