Barring a trade, the Seahawks will have the 18th pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft April 26. The second and third rounds follow April 27 and rounds four through seven are April 28. Seattle went 9-7 last season and missed the playoffs for the first time in six years, accounting for a relatively high first pick.
The NFL finalized the final order of the first round Tuesday, two days after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. As the champion, the Eagles pick 32nd and last.
The Cleveland Browns, 0-16 in 2017, have the first pick and will be followed by the New York Giants (3-13), Indianapolis Colts (4-12) and the Browns, which received the fourth pick in a trade with the Houston Texans.
NFC West rival San Francisco (10-6) will pick either ninth or 10th, to be determined by a coin flip with the Oakland Raiders. Arizona (8-8), another division rival, select 15th while the defending division champion Los Angeles Rams (11-5) select 23rd.
Seattle’s most recent pick higher than 18th came in 2012 when the Seahawks chose DE Bruce Irvin at No. 15.
At the moment the Seahawks have only one pick in the first three rounds. Seattle traded its 2018 second-round selection to the New York Jets for DT Sheldon Richardson, and its third rounder to Houston to acquire LT Duane Brown.
The Tennessee Titans had the 18th pick last year and selected CB Adoree Jackson of USC.

If Thomas is traded, it has to involve two or more picks.
He’s the only franchise asset potentially available that can make the Seahawks whole in this draft.
Hawks are seriously looking at a 6’10” burly 400 pound specimen recently spotted roaming the hills of Kazakhstan. Films show outstanding quickness in dodging avalanches and large boulders. He’s never seen a football of course but has great upside potential. And being pure unadulterated raw potential, he can be plugged in just about anywhere with equal effect.
Can he replace Jimmy Graham? Tall, check. Outstanding quickness for dodging blocking assignments, check. Capable of dropping easy catches, check.

If there at #18 (Kiper currently has him going at #19 to Cowboys), Seahawks should grab Vita Vea. You can never have too many great DL/OL and that guy is an athletic freak! If not available, I expect Schneider to do his normal trading down routine
Vea has the combo skills to be a 15-year NFL D-lineman.
