Following a pair of routs last week, the Gonzaga Bulldogs remained No. 1 in the Associated Press college basketball rankings for the second consecutive week. The Zags (24-0), the only remaining undefeated team in Division I, Monday received 59 first-place votes from the 65-member national media panel.

Villanova (22-2) moved from fourth to second after receiving the other six No. 1 votes. Kansas, which saw its 51-game winning streak at Allen Fieldhouse end last weekend thanks to unranked Iowa State, stayed in third, while Louisville jumped from sixth to fourth.

With its impressive win over Arizona, Oregon jumped from 13th to fifth. The Wildcats tumbled to ninth while UCLA moved up one place from 11th to 10th.

Gonzaga, which received 1,619 points, defeated BYU 85-75 in Provo and blasted Santa Clara 90-55 in Spokane. The Zags play at Loyola Marymount Thursday and at St. Mary’s Saturday.
