Washington’s spring game will be played April 30, shifting the game to Saturday following a Friday experiment last season.

The Huskies announced the spring practice schedule Thursday. Once again practices will be Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday spread over five weeks. The full schedule:

    Practice #1 Tuesday March 29th
    Practice #2 Thursday March 31st
    Practice #3 Saturday April 2nd
    Practice #4 Tuesday April 5th
    Practice #5 Thursday April 7th
    Practice #6 Saturday April 9th
    Practice #7 Tuesday April 12th
    Practice #8 Thursday April 14th
    Practice #9 Saturday April 16th
    Practice #10 Tuesday April 19th
    Practice #11 Thursday April 21st
    Practice #12 Saturday April 23rd
    Practice #13 Tuesday April 26th
    Practice #14 Thursday April 28th
Practice #15 Saturday April 30th (Spring Game)

Spring practices have been open the past two years under head coach Steve Sarkisian. It’s likely they will be open again this year, though that will be defined when further information is released. The practice dates are subject to change, so don’t cancel those dinner plans with Loretta just yet.

The most intriguing battle in spring ball will be between quarterbacks Keith Price and Nick Montana. One of them will be tasked with replacing Jake Locker.
