When last we left Brandon Roy, he was near tears after being benched in Game 2 of the Blazers’ first-round playoff series. What a turnaround. On Saturday night, Roy led one of the biggest fourth-quarter comebacks in NBA playoff history. If you haven’t seen the highlights, do yourself a favor and check them out. Note that Jason Terry and Roy are matched against each other in the game’s final sequence.

In other Team 206 news, Jamal Crawford’s 25 points put the Hawks up 3-1 on the Magic.

Sounders MF Steve Zakuani’s gruesome leg injury really put a damper on the weekend. Zakuani had successful surgery and is still in a Denver hospital. He’ll return to Seattle this week. If you want to send messages of support to Zakuani, here’s how.

Art says the Seahawks shouldn’t take Jake Locker–for Locker’s sake.

The Mayo Clinic says Franklin Gutierrez has irritable bowel syndrome.

Didja see Michael Pineda’s start on Friday? If not, here are the highlights…which are actually the highlights of the entire weekend, as Saturday and Sunday brought dispiriting losses.

Reliever Josh Lueke and his 17.05 ERA are headed back to AAA, along with Carlos Peguero, who had 5 Ks in 11 PAs. Justin Smoak comes back from bereavement leave, and the M’s are promoting fireballer Dan Cortes.

Know who’s second on the team in RBI? Friggin’ Ichiro, with 9. (Note: Those 9 RBI put Ichiro 96th in all of MLB. Sweet God.)

Safeco Field is going to get better cell coverage. About time. Sick of getting failures when I try to check in on FourSquare!

QB Keith Price was the star of the Huskies’ scrimmage Saturday.

Lot of nervous hockey fans to your north, as the top-seed Vancouver Canucks have squandered a 3-0 series lead on Chicago. Game 7 is Tuesday night in Vancouver.

Seven days closer to a championship…
