The logical place is the existing and former place–the Seattle Center.  However, to remodel Key Arena now and bring it up to standards would be to admit that somehow it probably could have been done years ago–thus ensuring that Seattle would have kept the Sonics.  And the percentage of the human population that can admit, deep down inside, a mistake is small, and to admit it, or have it admitted, publicly is borderline non-existant.  Thus, Key Arena probably never will happen, as we dance around that issue and put forth other reasons why Key Arena will not work.
