Seahawks fans are invited to participate in a rally and 12th-Man flag-signing event Wednesday from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Fisher Pavilion and the South Fountain Lawn at the Seattle Center. Mayor Ed Murray, members of the Sea Gals, Blue Thunder, Blitz and various Seahawks alumni will appear at the rally, which will feature a live performance by the top-40 cover band, Curb Appeal.

Immediately following the rally to celebrate Seattle’s participation in Super Bowl XLVIII, the Space Needle is asking Seahawks fans to participate in the “From the Needle to New Jersey” flag signing and relay.

The 25′ x 35′ flag, flown atop the Space Needle for every playoff run the team has made in recent years, will be put on display for all Seahawks fans to sign. That will take place from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

A live online video stream of the rally will be available on the Seahawks.com.

The Seattle Center will provide free round-trip transportation on Seattle Center Monorail from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for all fans wearing Seahawks apparel.
