    Sounders Announce 2014 MLS Broadcast Slate

    The Sounders Monday announced their broadcast schedule for the 2014 MLS regular season. Q13 FOX (KCPQ Ch. 13) and JOEtv (KZJO Ch. 22, Comcast cable Ch. 10) will broadcast 21 regular-season matches live in HD. The remaining 13 will be televised nationally by ESPN or NBC. The Sounders open their sixth season March 8 at home against Sporting Kansas City.

    The Sounders made one change to the schedule released in late November. The start time for their match against Toronto FC March 15 has been moved to 1:30 p.m. PT. Kickoff was scheduled for 7 p.m. The match will be aired by Q13 FOX in Western Washington, marking the station’s first Sounders broadcast.

    NBC Sports Network will air the match nationally outside of Western Washington.In Canada, the match will be shown on TSN and RDS2.

    During the season, Q13 FOX will air two 30-minute Sounders FC specials. In addition, the Sounders will be featured in a weekly segment at the conclusion of Q It Up Sports on Friday nights.

      This kind of sucks. I don’t pay COMCAST the extra $20.00 a month so I can have HD since I don’t watch much TV. I have an HD antennae I get all the local stations with, but FOX is the only one that does not broadcast in HD.
