The World Trade Center Seattle, on the Alaskan Way waterfront, hosts a Seahawks “happy hour” at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Please join me at 5 p.m. Tuesday for a couple of hours of good food, drink and dish from inside the Seahawks world. If you’re a 12 and know others, you can get the must-have Christmas gift of the football season  — “Russell Wilson: Standing Tall,” Sportspress Northwest’s book about QB Russell Wilson and the run to the Super Bowl championship.

In partnership with the World Trade Center Seattle and its members, the event will be a long, happy hour “sports salon” to talk Seahawks, Wilson, NFL playoffs as well as the Washington Huskies’ bowl game, the Sounders season, the Mariners’ 2015 prospects and the latest with the SoDo arena project.

Besides $5 beverage at the WTC dining room at 2200 Alaskan Way, fourth floor, next door to the Marriott Hotel on the Seattle waterfront, you’ll be able to make a game-day dinner out of the following:

    •             Beef sliders with cheddar cheese

    •             Pulled BBQ pork with crispy cabbage

    •             House fried chips with bean, guacamole and pico de gallo

    •             Salted peanuts

    •             Popcorn and pretzels

    •             Vegetable crudités served with creamy herb dip

    Schedule:
5:00 p.m.: Networking, Happy Hour beverages, and complimentary appetizers
5:45 p.m.: Art shares stories and insights
    6:15 p.m.: No-holds-barred Q&A

    WTCSE Members | $20
    Non-Members | $30 (but if you say you’re a friend of Art’s, $20)

RSVP appreciated. Please register at http://www.wtcseattle.com/events.php

Parking is available in the covered lot below the building. Parking for members is complimentary, and the non-member rate is $10 per car. Street parking is also available.

Questions? Contact the WTCSE concierge at concierge@wtcseattle.com or (206) 441-5144.
