The University of Washington Wednesday announced a complete non-conference basketball schedule that includes eight home contests and four neutral-site games, starting with a clash against the University of Texas Nov. 13 in Shanghai. That will be the first regular-season game, college or pro, to be played in China.

After playing Mount St. Mary’s (Nov. 19) and Pennsylvania (Nov. 21) at Alaska Airlines Arena, the Huskies will take part in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament Nov. 25-27 on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. UW’s first game will be against Gonzaga, which reached the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight last year. The Huskies and Zags have met 43 times but not since November of 2006.

The Huskies also have Texas and Texas A&M on their side of the bracket, meaning that they could face a rematch with Texas. On the other side: Michigan, Syracuse, UNC Charlotte and UConn, the 2014 NCAA champions. Game times have yet to be announced.

Washington concludes its non-conference schedule with six consecutive home games against against Cal State Fullerton (Dec. 6), Texas Christian (Dec. 8), Montana (Dec. 12), Oakland of Michigan (Dec. 19), Seattle U. (Dec. 22) and Santa Barbara (Dec. 28).
