The World Trade Center Seattle, on the Alaskan Way waterfront, has great food, great views and a Seahawks happy hour Sept. 10.

You’re invited to join me Sept.10 for a splendid happy hour loaded with facts, libation and good food, all slathered with behind-the-scenes cool stuff on the Seahawks’ 2015 season at the best-kept secret on the downtown waterfront — World Trade Center Seattle’s fourth-floor restaurant.

“The Quest for the Lost Yard” is the theme and begins with, “Pete Carroll and John Schneider walk into the hotel bar the Sunday morning of the Super Bowl . . . ” You’ll have to show up for the punch line.

Jimmy Graham? Ciara? Tyler Lockett? Kam Chancellor? Marshawn Lynch and his vat of Skittles? I’m happy to ‘splain ’em all in the fourth installment of the increasingly popular Sports Salon. It’s also a chance for  Sportspress Northwest and KPLU-FM followers to network with each other and the WTC membership.

Dress is casual, food is wonderful, and the discussion intriguing about what I call The World’s Most Interesting Team. Also prizes.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to guess the Seahawks’ 2015 regular season record and total points scored. The person closest to the final outcome will win an overnight getaway to The Salish Lodge and Spa.

For those insisting on immediate gratification, I will test your sports knowledge with Seahawks questions, and winners will be awarded other prizes at the event (users of smartphones will be tasered!).

Networking starts at 5 p.m., program at 5:40 and Q-and-A at 6:15. Tickets are $20 for WTC members and $30 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets with this link.
