The World Trade Center Seattle, on the Alaskan Way waterfront, hosts another Sports Salon on the Seahawks at 5 p.m. Thursday.

Hey, 12s! Since the opener is in St. Louis Sunday, a premier way to get ready is to join me Thursday to learn all about the Seahawks’ behind-the-scenes maneuvers at a splendid happy hour on the Seattle waterfront.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., The World Trade Center Seattle and its superb fourth-floor restaurant is hosting another in the popular Sports Salon series in which libation, food and prizes will be provided along with the latest on Kam Chancellor, Marshawn Lynch, Russell Wilson and his “nanobubbles.”

“The Quest for the Lost Yard” is the theme and begins with, “Pete Carroll and John Schneider walk into the hotel bar the Sunday morning of the Super Bowl . . . ” You’ll have to show up for the punch line.

Jimmy Graham? Ciara? Tyler Lockett? Frank Clark? Earl Thomas? Richard Sherman? Drew Nowak?? I’m happy to take questions on all from the followers of Sportspress Northwest and KPLU-FM, who can network with each other and the WTC membership.

Dress is casual, food is wonderful, and the discussion intriguing about what I call The World’s Most Interesting Team. Also prizes.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to guess the Seahawks’ 2015 regular season record and total points scored. The person closest to the final outcome will win an overnight getaway to The Salish Lodge and Spa.

For those insisting on immediate gratification, I will test your sports knowledge with Seahawks questions, and winners will be awarded other prizes at the event (users of smartphones will be tasered!).

Networking starts at 5 p.m., program at 5:40 and Q-and-A at 6:15. Tickets are $20 for WTC members and $30 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Brown Paper Tickets with this link.
