    13 Huskies receive Pac-12 academic honors

    Junior OL Jake Eldrenkamp and redshirt freshman DB Brandon Lewis were named to the Pac-12 Conference’s All-Academic team Tuesday. Eldrenkamp, from Bellevue High School and a nine-game starter, has a 3.67 GPA in business administration and was named to the team for a second year.

    Lewis, from Rancho Murieta, CA., who played in 10 games, is a pre-engineering major with a 3.62 GPA.

    Sophomores Dante Pettis and Sidney Jones, junior Shane Brostek and senior Siosifa Tufunga were named to the second team. Pettis, a wide receiver, has a 3.25 GPA in pre-social sciences studies, while offensive linemen Brostek (3.49) and Tufunga (3.21) are majoring in American ethnic studies. Jones, a cornerback, has a 3.46 GPA in pre-health science studies.

    Seven Huskies who earned honorable mention: Sophomore DB Budda Baker, sophomore LB Sean Constantine, redshirt freshman OL Matt James, junior QB Jeff Lindquist, senior LS Ryan Masel, redshirt freshman DB JoJo McIntosh and sophomore PK Tristan Vizcaino.

    At Washington State, redshirt sophomore LB Peyton Pelluer, with a 3.57 in history, was named to the second team. Three Cougars were named to honorable mention:Sophomore QB Luke Falk, sophomore S Isaac Dotson and junior OL Sam Flor.
