The Seattle Seahawks, who announced their 2013 schedule Thursday, re-signed kicker Steven Hauschka Friday. Hauschka joined Seattle after being claimed off waivers from Denver Sept. 4, 2011, and has converted 49 of 57 field goals (.860), with a long of 52 yards, and 80 of 82 PATs in his two seasons.

Last season he made 24 of 27 field goals for a career-high 118 points and set the franchise-record with 14 consecutive games with a made field goal (10/9/11 – 9/16/12).

In five seasons, Hauschka has played in 53 games, converting 65 of 79 field goals (.823) with a long of 54 and made 117 of 120 PATs.

During his time with the Seahawks, Hauschka had kicked three field goals of 50 yards or longer. Twice he has hit from 52, on Sept. 25, 2011 against Arizona and Oct. 18, 2012 at San Francisco.

Hauschka is 12-for-13 from 20-29 yards, 10-for-10 from 30-39 yards and 5-for-5 from 40-49 yards.

Hauschka, who attended North Carolina State, began his career with the Baltimore Ravens in 2008 as a free agent.
